This privacy policy explains how I collect and use your personal information when you visit camilletoscano.com or divorcesos.help, sign up for something free, buy from me or get in touch. I have written it in plain language because you deserve to understand it.
1. Who I am
Both websites are run by Camille Toscano Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14745406), with its registered office at 48 Gaviots Way, Gerrards Cross, SL9 7DX, England. When I say "I", "me" or "my" in this policy, I mean Camille Toscano Ltd. For the purposes of data protection law I am the "controller" of your personal information, which means I decide how it is used and I am responsible for looking after it.
If you have any question about your information, email me at [email protected].
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers both websites and the forms, emails, bookings and payments that run through them.
It does not cover:
• the Divorce SOS app, which has its own privacy policy, available inside the app
• books bought on Amazon, which Amazon handles under its own privacy notice
• social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, which have their own policies
3. The information I collect
Information you give me:
• your name, email address and phone number, when you sign up for a free guide, a waiting list, a quiz or my emails
• your answers, if you complete a quiz or survey
• your contact details and the times you choose, if you book a call
• your name, billing details and what you bought, if you buy from me. Payments are handled by Stripe. I never see or store your full card number
• anything you tell me in a message or email
Information collected automatically:
• basic technical information such as your device, browser, the pages you visit and roughly where you are, collected through cookies and similar technology (see section 9)
4. Sensitive information
Because of what I do, you may choose to tell me about your relationship, your health, your children or difficult experiences. Data protection law treats some of this, such as information about your health, as "special category" information, which needs extra protection.
I only use this information to reply to you and support you, and only because you chose to share it with me. Please only share what you are comfortable sharing. You can ask me to delete it at any time.
My websites and inbox are not monitored around the clock. If you or someone else is in danger, please contact your local emergency services, not me.
5. How I use your information, and why I am allowed to
Data protection law says I must have a lawful reason for each use. Here is what I do and the reason for it:
• Sending you the free guide, waiting list updates or emails you signed up for. Reason: your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
• Delivering something you bought or a session you booked, and the admin around it. Reason: to carry out our agreement (a contract).
• Replying to your messages and questions. Reason: my legitimate interest in running my business and helping you.
• Keeping financial records. Reason: a legal obligation, as tax law requires it.
• Understanding how my websites are used so I can improve them. Reason: your consent, through the cookie banner.
• Using any sensitive information you share with me. Reason: your explicit consent, given when you choose to share it.
I do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and I never sell your information.
6. Who I share your information with
I only share your information with people and services that help me run my business, and only what they need:
• GoHighLevel, which hosts my websites, forms, emails, bookings and customer records
• Stripe, which processes payments
• Google Workspace, which provides my business email
• Passion.io, the platform the Divorce SOS app runs on, if you sign up for the app
• people who help me run my business, such as my assistant and my accountant, who must keep your information confidential
I may also share information if the law requires me to, or to protect someone's safety.
7. Information sent outside the UK
Some of the services above are based in, or store information in, the United States or elsewhere. When that happens, I make sure your information is protected by appropriate safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (the "UK-US data bridge") or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
8. How long I keep it
• Email sign-ups: until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete your details
• Messages and enquiries: up to 2 years after we were last in touch
• Purchase and client records: 6 years after the end of the tax year they relate to, because tax law requires it
After that, I delete your information securely.
9. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. My websites use:
• essential cookies, which the websites need to work, such as remembering what is in your basket
• analytics and marketing cookies, if a website uses them, which help me understand how people use the website and whether my adverts work
Analytics and marketing cookies are only set if you agree to them in the cookie banner. You can change your mind at any time by clearing cookies in your browser, after which the cookie banner will ask you again.
10. Your rights
You have the right to:
• ask for a copy of the information I hold about you
• ask me to correct anything that is wrong
• ask me to delete your information
• ask me to stop or limit how I use it, or object to how I use it
• ask for your information in a format you can take elsewhere
• withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting anything I did before
To use any of these rights, email [email protected].
If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, please tell me first so I can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
11. Children
My websites and services are for adults. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
12. Keeping your information safe
I use reputable, secure services, limit who can access your information, and only keep what I need. No system is completely secure, but I take the protection of your information seriously, especially given what you may share with me.
13. Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If I make an important change, I will tell you by email or on the websites.
